THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST by Oscar Wilde, Runs April 18-29 The famous comedy by Oscar Wilde, revolves around two young gentlemen in 1890s England who use the same false identity of "Ernest" on the sly. Their ruse works fine until they both fall in love with women using the fake name. ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST by Dale Wasserman, Runs May 9-20 Based on Ken Kesey's novel, this drama tells the unforgettable story of a mental hospital whose patients struggle to retain their independence in the face of cruel authority. J-CAT is the theatre educational arm of the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center's Rabbi Norman Mussman Cultural Arts Department. It is a year-round theatre arts program for youth, teens, 1086274749 and adults. J-CAT initiates st corsa udents of all ages to the magical world of theatre through a full season of productions, Summer Stock Theatre Camp, and a whole range of after school and evening classes in acting and technical theatre, and more. J-CAT presents 6 productions during the theatre season with both Youth and Adult. Drawing upon community theatre roots, our actors and techies make up a volunteer ensemble that showcases their love and passion of theatre. ALL AUDITIONS are by appointment.
